L’ABS fourni en série sur toute la gamme BMW Motorrad à partir du millésime 2013

BMW Motorrad est le premier constructeur mondial à proposer l’ABS en série sur toute sa gamme.

 

Munich. As the leading motorcycle manufacturer, BMW Motorrad has always been aware of its social responsibility with regard to the issue of motorcycling safety. In 1988, the company presented the world’s first series production motorcycles equipped with the anti blocking system ABS, which is to this very day still the most effective safety enhancement feature. And now follows the next logical step: From the model year 2013, BMW Motorrad will be the world’s first manufacturer to offer ABS as standard on all models. The company is responding proactively to the ABS obligation for newly registered motorcycles in the Euro zone, which is scheduled to come into effect as from 2013, by adhering to it well in advance.

 

Here is something that will please customers: The full ABS feature is predominantly cost neutral. Most models will even have a price advantage.

 

The new BMW F 700 GS is an especial highlight: It will offer a significant improvement in product substance, but at a lower price.
