Munich. The BMW International Open (20th to 23rd June 2019, Golfclub München Eichenried) will be held for the 31st time this year. No other tournament on the European Tour has enjoyed a success story spanning three decades with the same title and the same organiser in BMW. Martin Kaymer and Matt Wallace have already confirmed they will be teeing off in Munich. More top-class pros are set to follow. Tickets for the highlight of the golfing year in Germany can be ordered now, with an early bird discount.

In 2018, he missed out by just one stroke. Martin Kaymer returns for another shot this year: the two-time major winner has his sights set firmly on a second victory at the iconic German tournament. In 2008, Kaymer became the first and only German to date to win his home tournament, defeating Anders Hansen (DEN) in a thrilling play-off on the final Sunday.

“I am already looking forward to the 31st BMW International Open in Munich. Hopefully I’ll see you there,” said the youngest winner of the BMW International Open, addressing his many fans.

This year’s defending champion is Matt Wallace. The 28-year-old won the BMW International Open and a further two tournaments last year, catapulting him up the world rankings. Second place at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic at the end of January saw the Englishman, who has only been playing on the European Tour since 2017, rise to number 36 in the world.

Pre-sale of tickets begins today, 5th February, at www.bmw-golfsport.com/tickets, with an early bird discount of ten percent on up to four admission tickets or Fairway Club tickets. This offer runs until 23:59 on 28th February 2019. To take advantage of this discount, enter the code “BIRDIE” in the “Promotion Code” field when ordering online.

Admission is free for all on Tuesday (practice rounds) and Wednesday (Pro-Am), while under 18s pay nothing for admission throughout the entire tournament. Day tickets cost 15 Euros (Thursday or Friday) and 30 Euros per day on the weekend. Season tickets for all four days of the tournament are available for 75 Euros. VIP tickets for the Fairway Club are available for 275 Euros (Thursday or Friday), 375 Euros (Saturday or Sunday) and 1,040 Euros (season ticket, Thursday to Sunday). The aforementioned prices are all without the early bird discount.

The admission price includes a free shuttle bus service between the S-Bahn station at Ismaning and Golfclub München Eichenried (Thursday to Sunday) and – weather permitting – free parking at the tournament

CO2 emission information.

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies. Further information on the WLTP and NEDC measurement procedures is also available at www.bmw.de/wltp.

For further details of the official fuel consumption figures and official specific CO2 emissions of new cars, please refer to the “Manual on the fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and power consumption of new cars”, available at sales outlets free of charge, from Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT), Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern-Scharnhausen and at https://www.dat.de/co2/.
