+++ Second round of the 36th BMW International Open in Eichenried +++ Katsuragawa (JPN), Brown and Smith (both ENG, all -9) take clubhouse lead +++ Marcel Siem best German after impressive stretch +++ Images from the morning flights +++

Munich. The morning starters have completed their second round at the BMW International Open (2 - 6 July, GC München Eichenried). Due to a thunderstorm warning, play began with a delay of 1:45 hours. Sharing the clubhouse lead at 9 under par are Japan’s Yuto Katsuragawa and the two Englishmen Jordan Smith and Daniel Brown.

Once again, the German group featuring Marcel Siem, Martin Kaymer and Nicolai von Dellingshausen was in the spotlight for fans. Especially Siem impressed on Friday morning, delivering a brilliant eagle on the 18th hole, followed by four birdies. After two rounds, he sits at seven under par, placing him in a tie for fifth on the leaderboard.

Today also brings the cut decision. Currently, the cut line stands at one under par. Kaymer (-4) will safely continue into the weekend, while von Dellingshausen (+2) misses the cut and sees his tournament come to an end.

CO2 emission information.

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies. Further information are available at www.bmw.de/wltp and at www.dat.de/co2/.
