In Sunday’s IMSA Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen at ‘Watkins Glen International’ (USA), BMW Team RLL scored a fifth place finish with the #24 BMW M8 GTE of John Edwards (USA) and Jesse Krohn (FIN). The #25 BMW M8 GTE of Tom Blomqvist (GBR) and Connor De Phillippi (USA) was credited with a seventh place finish after retiring from the race on lap 159. The race was won by the #911 Porsche.
The participants in the second class of the BMW Motorsport Junior Programme have been confirmed. Victor Bouveng (SE), Nick Cassidy (NZ), Louis Delétraz (CH) and Trent Hindman (US) impressed the BMW Motorsport scouts with their talent at a shoot-out in Monteblanco (ES) in March, and will benefit from an extensive training programme in the coming months.

Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2008 Formula BMW Americas Championship saw drivers from eight countries compete in front of the Canadian Grand Prix crowd. With the finish of Round 4 today, the flags of Brazil, Canada and the US had flown over the podium. Ricardo Favoretto and Alexander Rossi each took one win.
Woodcliff Lake, NJ. - February 29, 2008 Formula BMW Americas confirmed today the four young men who will receive BMW Junior scholarships for the 2008 season. They are Ricardo Favoretto, 19, of Sao Paulo, Brazil; Mikael Grenier, 15, of Quebec, Canada; Alexandre Ruiz, 16, of Sao Paulo, Brazil and Gianmarco Raimondo, 17, of St. Catherine, Ontario, Canada.

September 27, 2006... BMW of North America, LLC announced today the names of the five young drivers that will be awarded a 2007 Formula BMW USA Junior scholarship. Each will receive $40,000 towards participation in the 2007 Formula BMW USA championship and automatic free enrollment in Formula BMW USA Education and Coaching Program.
Matt Lee (Team Autotechnicia) took the Round 14 Formula BMW USA victory today at Mosport International Raceway, finishing 5.658 seconds ahead of Reed Stevens (HBR Motorsport Team USA) in the 16 lap race. Eliminated from a run at the championship following his third place finish in yesterday's Round 13 contest, Lee's second win of the season gave him a well-deserved second place in the final standings.

Mosport International Raceway, Canada's Home of Motorsports, will host the final two Rounds of the 2006 Formula BMW USA championship during the Labor Day Grand Prix on September 1-3. CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
