The BMW Group updated its full-year outlook for 2023 today. Given the solid operational performance in the first half of 2023, the company expects positive momentum in the business during the second half of the year. This is built on the ongoing strength of the order bank and an expected improvement in the availability of its premium vehicles.

•In 2022, BMW Group sold 44,463 units of BMW and MINI in Latin America •BMW Group is leader in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, as well as in Importer Markets as a whole •BMW is the preferred brand in the Premium segment in LatAm •20% out of BMW Group sales in Latin America are electrified •The 2022 set the course for MINI by placing 6,737 units, 24% out of which are hybrid or electric •BMW Motorrad proved its strength in the region by delivering 25,480 units
177,257 BMW M automobiles delivered worldwide, an increase of 8.4 per cent compared to the previous year. Successful start to the transformation to electric mobility: BMW i4 M50* is instantly the best-selling BMW M model, followed by the BMW XM*, the first electrified high-performance automobile.
The BMW Group sold a total of 128,196 fully-electric BMW and MINI vehicles in the first nine months of 2022 – more than double its BEV sales in the same period of last year (+114.8%). The company was thus able to translate strong interest in its fully-electric products into robust growth.
After a successful 2021, the BMW Group is speeding up technological change and pushing forward with the transformation towards sustainable mobility. The company is preparing for a comprehensive leap in technology in its Neue Klasse and significantly upping the pace once again as it continues to ramp up e-mobility.
