BMW X1 takes on new athletic form
Echoing the modern BMW design language, the BMW X1 now sports a new muscular look, underscoring its dynamic intent.
From the front, the signature BMW kidney grille now comes as a single-piece and sits on top of the redesigned front apron. Consistent with the contemporary BMW appearance, standard LED headlights are now hexagonal in shape and complete the sporty look.
Adaptive LED headlights including anti-dazzle matrix high-beam function are available as a part of the Driver Assistant Package for added night visibility and road safety.
The combination of new body coloured inlays, larger exhaust diameter (90mm) and full LED rear L shaped lights is incredibly eye-catching and augment the sporting stance.
Included in the lights package is a Welcome greeting whereby the ‘X1’ logo is projected onto the ground, creating an exclusive and inviting scenario. This is standard on sDrive20i and xDrive20d models. For sDrive18i, lights package is available as a cost option.
Interior and technological enhancements for elevated comfort and practicality
The BMW X1 boot capacity remains unchanged with a volume of 505 litres that can be extended to 1,550 litres via flexible 40/20/40 rear folding seats. Automatic Tailgate is standard for sDrive18, sDrive18i and xDrive20d, adding to the convenience of loading and unloading.
Navigation system featuring an 8.8-inch touch screen display is available for the sDrive18i and sDrive18i Edition. For sDrive20i and xDrive20d, Navigation Plus comes as standard which includes prominent 10.25-inch touch display and full colour BMW Head-up Display for driving ease.
Standard across the BMW X1 LCI range, the Wireless Smartphone Charging tray is located in the front centre armrest, allowing for convenient on-the-go charging.

Condition Based Servicing
All maintenance requirements for the BMW X1 are controlled by the Condition Based Servicing (CBS) system.
With CBS, sensors and advanced algorithms monitor and calculate the conditions in which a vehicle is used, including mileage, time elapsed since its last service, fuel consumption and how a vehicle is driven. Based on the information captured, maintenance requirements are determined, identifying whether an annual vehicle inspection or oil service is due.
As with all New Zealand-new BMW vehicles, a five-year warranty, three-year service inclusive programme and five year roadside assist coverage is fully included.
