The outbreak of Coronavirus might have affected our operations, but you are assured of our continued support – and that of BMW Group South Africa’s regional press fleet administrators – in ensuring your access to press units is not affected.
As such, we would like to make you aware that our regional press fleet administrators have been implementing measures to maintain social distancing when collecting and delivering vehicles, and will disinfect the vehicles in line with our usual high standards of cleanliness.
Delivery and collection drivers are instructed to:
- Not shake hands or hug when meeting with media.
- Use hand sanitisers and anti-bacterial wipes as necessary.
- Wipe touch points such as the door handles, steering wheels, gear knobs, touch screens, dials and window switches when handing over vehicles and also upon collection.
- Not collect or deliver vehicles to airports.
This remains a fluid situation and we appreciate your continued support during this time of uncertainty.
