Con el nuevo BMW M2 Competition (consumo combinado de combustible con caja de cambios manual de seis velocidades: 9,9 - 10,0 l/100 km; emisiones de CO2: 225-228 g/km*; con la transmisión opcional de doble embrague M (M DCT): 9,2 l/100 km; emisiones CO2: 209 - 210 g/km)*, BMW M GmbH establece nuevas referencias en el segmento de los deportivos compactos de altas prestaciones, a la par que añade un marcado refinamiento al carácter del BMW M2 Coupé.

Nuevo motor de seis cilindros en línea con tecnología M TwinPower Turbo, basado en el propulsor del BMW M3/M4, tres litros de cilindrada, 302 kW / 410 CV, par máximo de 550 Nm (consumo combinado de combustible con caja de cambios manual de seis velocidades: 9,9 - 10,0 l/100 km; emisiones de CO2 combinadas: 225-228 g/km*; combinado con transmisión opcional de Doble Embrague M (M DCT): 9,2 l/100 km; emisiones combinadas de CO2 emisiones: 209-210 g/km)*.

De 0 a 100 km/h: 4,2 segundos (4,4 segundos con caja de cambios manual de seis velocidades), velocidad máxima: 250 km/h (limitada, 280 km/h con el M Driver Package).

Barra entre torretas de suspensión delanteras en CFRP de alta precisión para una rigidez incrementada del eje delantero.

Nuevo sistema de refrigeración, incluyendo nuevo faldón delantero y nueva parrilla BMW en negro de alto brillo.

* The fuel consumption and CO2 emissions figures shown were determined according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version applicable at the time of type approval. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers the different size of the selected wheels and tires. The values of the vehicles labelled with (*) are already based on the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to ensure the comparison between the vehicles. With respect to these vehicles, for vehicle-related taxes or other duties based (at least inter alia) on CO2 emissions, the CO2 values may differ to the values stated here (depending on national legislation). The CO2 efficiency specifications are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the Pkw-EnVKV, and based (for classification) on the fuel consumption and CO2 values as per the NEDC cycle.
