Renowned Directors/Producers Ridley and Tony Scott Named Executive Producers

Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, August 5, 2002...BMW films and RSA USA, Inc.
announced today the line-up of renowned Hollywood directors who will take the
helm of the next three installments of The Hire Internet film series. The
films are underwritten by BMW.

Slated to premiere on bmwfilms.com beginning this October, The Hire will
feature original short films directed by: John Woo ("Windtalkers," "Mission
Impossible II," "Face/Off"), Tony Scott ("Spy Game," "Enemy of the State,"
"True Romance," "Top Gun") and Joe Carnahan (soon to direct Harrison Ford in
"Walk Among the Tombstones," "NARC"). Woo and Carnahan are represented by the
Hollywood talent agency Endeavor.

Executive Produced by Ridley Scott, Tony Scott and Jules Daly through the
Scott's company RSA USA, Inc., the next three films all revolve around one
intriguing central character known as The Driver, played by Clive Owen ("The
Bourne Identity," "Gosford Park," "Croupier").

"This is a tremendous line-up of talented and diverse filmmakers," said Jules
Daly, Executive Producer of The Hire. "From the gritty intensity of Joe
Carnahan, and John Woo's romantic, action-packed dramas, to the intriguing
impactful filmmaking of Tony Scott, each director will engage and entertain the
audience with their unique points-of-view."

"I think these films are little creative diamonds that give directors a chance
at fleshing out story, characters and visuals in a short form," said Tony Scott.

The Hire Series made international waves last year, when it featured films
directed by John Frankenheimer ("Ronin," "Grand Prix," "The Manchurian
Candidate"), Ang Lee (Oscar and Golden Globe winner "Crouching Tiger, Hidden
Dragon," "Sense and Sensibility," "Eat Drink Man Woman"), Wong Kar-Wai ("In the
Mood for Love," "Happy Together," "Chung King Express"), Guy Ritchie ("Lock,
Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," "Snatch") and Alejandro González Iñárritu
("Amores Perros"). The films were brilliantly cast with strong supporting
characters played by: Mickey Rourke ("The Pledge"), Tomas Milian ("Traffic"),
Adriana Lima (Guess model) and Madonna (actress/recording artist).

More than 13 million film views were logged in at the digital-quality streaming
video website.
