To the extent that historical press releases reference BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC as the manufacturer of certain X model vehicles, the referenced vehicles are manufactured in South Carolina with a combination of U.S. origin and imported parts and components.

Munich. Since the end of April, visitors to the home page of the BMW Welt
project (www.bmw-welt.com) have been able to experience a new feature:
Weltsichten - the online magazine of BMW Welt. The magazine offers fascinating
insights into the multifaceted world of BMW and will provide information to
everyone interested in the project and the creation of BMW Welt until the
building is opened in 2006.
Weltsichten appears every three months. In the first issue, everything revolves
around networking - a topic that plays a central role particularly in the field
of "intelligent mobility" and is therefore of major significance to BMW as
well. Weltsichten provides visitors with exciting reports, informative
interviews and original viewpoints - about living in the future, for example,
the complex logistics of Formula 1 or the amazing navigational skills of the
Monarch butterfly.
The BMW Welt will be opened in 2006 on the site between the Olympic Complex and
the BMW Group headquarters. The landscape is still dominated by building
equipment. The foundation stone for the new BMW world of experience will be
laid at a depth of 14 metres in July. After completion, some 850,000 people a
year are expected to visit the visionary building, including many BMW customers
who want to pick up their new vehicle straight from the manufacturer. It will
also be possible to learn more about models, innovations and additional brand
goods and services. Two webcams at www.bmw-welt.com also offer visitors the
chance to follow the building progress at BMW Welt live.
