Gelijktijdig met de wereldpremière van de nieuwe BMW 5 Reeks tijdens het Internationale Autosalon van Genève 2010, presenteert BMW opnieuw een uitbreiding op het thema hybride en EfficientDynamics: de BMW Concept 5 Reeks ActiveHybrid. Een full-hybrid studiemodel op basis van de nieuwe BMW 5 Reeks. Het substantiële potentieel om volledig elektrisch te rijden - inclusief Auto Start/Stop functie, de onafhankelijk functionerende airconditioning en de e-boost functie, maken de BMW Concept 5 Reeks ActiveHybrid tot opvallend studiemodel. De hybridetechniek is een door BMW zelf doorontwikkeld vervolg op de eerder gepresenteerde BMW ActiveHybrid 7 en X6. In bijlage vindt u het volledige Engelstalige persdossier.
