Die Idee von MINI Augmented Vision ist die Vernetzung zwischen einer Augmented Reality Brille im MINI Design und dem MINI Fahrzeug. Durch entsprechende Anwendungen auf der Augmented Reality Brille können wir den Fahrer außerhalb und innerhalb des Fahrzeugs unterstützen und somit Sicherheit und Komfort steigern. Bei MINI Augmented Vision werden Fahrdaten vom Fahrzeug an die Augmented Reality Brille übertragen und dort in einer Art und Weise dargestellt um den Kunden die Möglichkeit zu geben den Blick immer auf der Straße zu behalten und trotzdem alle Informationen im direkten Sichtfeld eingeblendet zu haben. Aktuell ist MINI Augmented Vision ein Prototyp, der die Vision aufzeigt, was mit Augmented Reality Technologie in Verbindung mit dem MINI Fahrzeug zukünftig ermöglicht werden kann. Aktuell gibt es noch keine Pläne für einen Serieneinsatz.
