BMW iX - ReThinking Design - Episode 1
The series show the BMW iNEXT Design process, narrated authentically by employees and their stories.
Episode 1 – The Monolith: Interviews about the process of exterior design with Kai Langer (Head of BMW i Design), Dirk Müller-Stolz (Head of BMW i Exterior Design) and Sawyer Li (Exterior Designer).
The minimalist, bold and iconic exterior design is visually transported in this episode, that feels reduced and sculptural - thus almost mystic. A monolith functions as a symbolic/aesthetic motive throughout the episode.
