The brand new and all-electric BMW iX1 is produced exclusively in the BMW Group plant Regensburg. Regensburg is not only home to the car production, the high voltage battery production for the iX1 is situated in Regensburg as well. This has huge advantages for sustainability due to short logistics distances.

The Film outlines the teamwork between Renzo Vitale and Hans Zimmer during the design and production of the BMW i car sounds. In order to be tested to receive 5 Stars in Euro NCAP's safety evaluation, the vehicle must be put through 4 total vehicle crash tests, plus active safety tests on the track as well as component tests. This side (barrier) test demonstrates the top performance of the iX as well as presenting BMW's first production implementation of a center airbag to further limit interaction on the far side of the vehicle.
