We had actually the technical inspection. Every car has a FIVA identity-card; it’s like a passport to the car. That means all the details of the specifications of the car is in the identity-card for example the chassis number, the engine number, the tires, the gearbox, the differential and everything. What we are doing here is to check if the identity-card, the passport of the car, corresponds to the reality. We have physically check the numbers if they comply with the identity-card.

I was planning to have Norwegian cars. On the Concours d´Élégance of Villa d´Este they wanted some Norwegian or Scandinavian cars, and they wanted me to go down here and I said “Is it possible that I Could drive on my own wheels?” And they said “Yes fine, we didn’t thought about that but if you want to do that, that would be a perfect thing. It’s normal to drive long in Norway, because I live north of the polar circle so it’s long distance out there between the communities. It’s not uncommon to drive long and I wanted to drive long.
