At the 90th edition of the famous motor show at Porte de Versailles (October 14 - 20, 2024), the British premium brand is presenting a purely electrically powered MINI model family. The highlights are the world premieres of two fullyelectric John Cooper Works models, which are all about performance and brand-typical sportiness. The current, locally emission-free model family represents a vision for the mobility of the future.

High-efficiency new development makes its series production debut in BMW M models and enables a significant reduction in fuel consumption under high loads. New ignition process is a prime example of the transfer of technology from racing cars to series-production models and helps to meet the requirements of the EU7 standard. Production of the BMW M3 and BMW M4 with BMW M Ignite technology begins in July 2026; the new engine technology will be available for the BMW M2 from August 2026.
