The series show the BMW iNEXT Design process, narrated authentically by employees and their stories. Episode 2: Focus of episode 2 is interior design and interviewpartners are: Matthias Junghanns (Head of BMW i Interior Design), Simon Sebastian (Interior Designer) and Daniela Bohlinger (Head of BMW Group Design Sustainability). The concept of minimalism is also reflected within the interior-design, that surprises with an inviting, boutique-like atmosphere and an transcendent quality. Several, now pastel colored monoliths are part of the set-design, mixed with floral attributes in Ikebana-like-fashion.

Regensburg is not only home to the car production, the high voltage battery production for the iX1 is situated in Regensburg as well. This has huge advantages for sustainability due to short logistics distances.
