This is partly because he uses very special theme sequences, which constantly repeat in different variations and are easy to spot for an Australian audience. There are the fish from the Great Barrier Reef. These tropical fish swim with the movement of the waves. Then there are certain patterns stemming from the original language of Australian art and the bright colours characterizing the Australian flora and fauna. All this shows in Ken Done’s works in hundreds of variations – and especially in this car.
