O-Tone H.J. Stuck: “I’m not only a routine race driver but also crazy to do anything else that’s stupid. I drive a normal BMW X5 on the road, so why not try a BMW X5 LeMans with 700 PS on a race track. I was crazy for it since they’ve asked me.” O-Tone H.J. Stuck: „It is a BMW...and there you can see that a BMW can even drive high-powered with the basic car elements. You can try to reach the high speed with a LeMans engine in this basic car. We want to stand an example how to drive the BMW X5 with the basic pars, but with a high powered engine and then to reach a maximum.” O-Tone H.J. Stuck: “It’s amazing. A race driver can’t have enough power anyway. But the first time you drive the X5 LeMans you can’t really feel the power…the car is heavy, over 2000 Kilogram weight…but if you reach 250 Kilometres per hour, you can feel that other cars would loose here and get slower, but with the X5 LeMans you are starting at that speed right now. It’s a pleasure for me to be able to try this exercise…only a few people can do it, so I’m very happy about it.”

Stuck: „You must fight with the car…Nordschleife with its fast corners, hills and valleys… if you drive with 260 km/h and you have to brake the whole weight there, first it’s a surprise how heavy the car is and how difficult it is to control all the weight. And then getting in and out of the fast corners, …you have hills, where all four wheels loose ground contact…you need to be courageous to push the car to the limit…that’s the problem.” O-Tone H.J. Stuck: „You have this extreme power in this car but the car lays always safe on the road…Until now I’ve always been the head of this car and that’s important. If you move the car you know it’s up to you how it’s reacting.”

O-Tone Eduard Wallek: „We wanted to show which offroad characters this car has... we have searched for a possibility to give the car a very strong engine… we wanted to do it…we just built this car to show which concept the X5 has on. O-Tone Eduard Wallek: „ This concept of the sportsactivity vehicle is a …With our sportsutility cars, we have a frame and then… We have one tire hang up. This one tire hang up is very similar to those of our sports limousines. We wanted to have the same safety standard as we have in our normal road cars…we make no differences. We have four-wheel-power car, a permanent one, which is steered by the brake electronics. And these are the reasons why we reach best onroad and best offroad characters.” O-Tone Eduard Wallek: „Sure, it’s a risk...but we wanted to try it and we believed that’s it will be possible. Others we’ve asked told us, you never get this car running on a race track distance over 100 metres because it built of series car parts.” O-Tone Eduard Wallek: „This car is and stays a uncial. It’s only for BMW to safe our concept.”
