The brand new and all-electric BMW iX1 is produced exclusively in the BMW Group plant Regensburg. Regensburg is not only home to the car production, the high voltage battery production for the iX1 is situated in Regensburg as well. This has huge advantages for sustainability due to short logistics distances.

The Film outlines the teamwork between Renzo Vitale and Hans Zimmer during the design and production of the BMW i car sounds. We show clips from Hans Zimmer's studio and from the BMW Sound Lab, where Renzo and Hans Zimmer test their creations. During the drive, the results are discussed in action. Viewers are given an insight into the cooperation between BMW and Hans Zimmer. the trailer contains scenes of the Vision M Next, in whose sound design Hans Zimmer played a major role

The video starts at sunrise. You can see the silhouette of a man walking towards the car and getting inside of it. After that, a close-up of the front lights follows – the turning on of the lights is perfectly in sync with the music. Other interior detail shots follow. The sun continues to rise and shines natural light onto the car. A detail shot of the exterior logo illustrates that. A variety of exterior detail shots show the model standing in the snow. The sun is now up and the car drives out of a drone shot. After a short look at the sunlit mountaintops dynamic shots follow the car as it drives on snow covered roads. The logo slowly fades in and stays over the next shot. At the end, a drone shot shows the car standing in its original place, the sun is now almost setting down again.

After that, a close-up of the front lights follows and the turning on of the lights is perfectly in sync with the music. Other interior detail shots of both cars come next, followed by exterior (detail) shots. A shot from behind shows the now sunlit mountains in the back. The reflexion of the lights can be seen, illustrating that they are now preparing to drive. After a short look at the snow covered mountains, the driver’s hand can be seen controlling the car. Dynamic (drone)shots follow the cars as they drive on white roads. A variety of shots – wide to close up – demonstrate the cars as they drive and drift alone and together on the snow. At the end, a drone shot shows the cars slowly moving towards their original position and the logo fades in, the sun is now almost setting down again.

In order to be tested to receive 5 Stars in Euro NCAP's safety evaluation, the vehicle must be put through 4 total vehicle crash tests, plus active safety tests on the track as well as component tests. This side (barrier) test demonstrates the top performance of the iX as well as presenting BMW's first production implementation of a center airbag to further limit interaction on the far side of the vehicle.
