For half a century, BMW Art Cars have provided a creative platform for renowned artists from across the globe to express their vision on an automobile. The BMW Art Cars by American artists Andy Warhol and Julie Mehretu will be exhibited at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The display at the concours marks the beginning of the North America leg of the BMW Art Car World Tour which celebrates the collection in its jubilee year around the globe.
In an exclusive edition of only 99 automobiles, a strictly limited number of the M850i xDrive Gran Coupé were created by Jeff Koons and BMW during several years of close collaboration. With THE 8 X JEFF KOONS, the most elaborately designed vehicle in all of BMW's history will be presented to a global audience for the first time on the occasion of Frieze Los Angeles.

On July 7, the Russian capital hosted “BMW Opera for All” for the second time. The event took place on the square in front of Bolshoi Theatre where an orchestra of 100 musicians together with 115 chorus singers performed world renowned arias from some of the most famous operas for an audience of around 8 000 people.
On October 27, New Zealand initiators Blackwell & Ruth and the German publisher of the book “200 Women who will change the way you see the world”, Dr Elisabeth Sandmann, together with the project’s exclusive partner BMW Group, had been celebrated the German premiere of the eponymous exhibition at Alte Bayerische Staatsbank in Munich. From October 28 to November 21, the venue will be home to “200 Women who will change the way you see the world”.
Munich/Basel. Art Basel and BMW are delighted to present Zac Langdon-Pole as the next BMW Art Journey winner. An international jury selected him unanimously from a shortlist of three artists whose works were exhibited in the Discoveries sector at this year’s Art Basel show in Hong Kong. Zac Langdon-Pole is represented by Michael Lett in Auckland.

CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
