Easy Load System. The rear lid opens downwards and can be used as a
loading platform. With the roof closed, the luggage compartment has a
capacity of 165 litres, with a volume of 120 litres still remaining with
the roof open. With the rear seat backrests folded down, the luggage
space is increased to no less than 605 litres. Functionality. The MINI
Cooper Convertible is a fully-fledged four-seater with a great fun
factor, a high degree of functionality and optimum utilisation of the
space available. The roof opens up fully automatically within a mere 15
seconds. At the push of a button, you first open the integrated sliding
roof, then the complete soft roof as such. Thanks to the Z-folding
mechanism, the complete roof can be folded up in compact arrangement
behind the rear seats, with no need for a tonneau cover.
