BMW wins 'Most Favourite Brand' Award

In a brand survey by Next Magazine in Hong Kong, the title of the 'Most
Favourite Brand' is bestowed upon BMW out of nine short-listed car
brands in the automobile category. The 'Most Favourite Brand' Awards
2003, organized by Next Magazine, is awarded to brands of various
categories, such as automobile, home appliance and fashion and
accessories. The judges of the awards are the readers of the magazine
through a voting system. BMW emerged as the winner in the car category
with the highest vote amongst its European competitors. BMW has
achieved a market share of 12% in the Hong Kong automotive market,
which exceeds that of Mercedes Benz. Next Magazine is the most
influential weekly magazine in Hong Kong. It has a circulation of more
than 200,000 for each issue. There are approximately more than 600,000
readers of Next Magazine. This is not the first time that BMW has been
voted as the favourite car brand by the public in China. In a survey
conducted by the auto channel of sina.com, China's leading Internet
portal, the German brand was also voted as the 'Most Favourite Brand'.
