Team Singapore proudly secures #2 position in BMW Golf Cup World Final in Mauritius.

Mr. Jeffrey Goh Lye Poh, Mr. Allen Gong, and Ms. Atienza Aloysa emerge Top 5 in their respective categories.
Singapore. Team Singapore proudly returns to the Lion City after securing second position in the Nation’s standings at the BMW Golf Cup World Final held in Mauritius across 22-24 March 2023.
“The BMW Golf Cup World Final is thelargest tournament series for amateur golfers,” said Mr. Lars Nielsen, Managing Director, BMW Group Asia. “This year, players spent an unforgettable week in Mauritius and teed off on the Legends Course at the exclusive Constance Belle Mare Plage Resort.
“A total of 27 international teams battled it out on the green, with Mr. Jeffrey Goh Lye Poh, Mr. Allen Gong, and Ms. Atienza Aloysa representing Team Singapore. Their outstanding performance in the Nation’s standings, and in their respective individual categories, has made history. We congratulate them for their hard work and dedication and look forward to seeing them on the green again in future!” he continued.
Nation’s Standings.
Cumulative points acquired over the three-day tournament for each player determined the winning national team. Team China took the #1 position with 332 points, followed by Team Singapore with 325 points.
Individual Standings.
Mr. Poh and Mr. Gong came in at 3rd and 4th place respectively in the Men’s Category A (up to HCP -12), while Ms. Aloysa clinched 5th position in the Ladies Category (up to HCP -28). She also came in 1st place for the Ladies Gross with 107 points.

The history of the BMW Golf Cup dates back to 1982, with the first World Final of the tournament series for amateurs being played in 1995. Amateurs can qualify for the World Final in three categories – Men A (HCP up to -12), Men B (HCP -13 to -28) and Ladies (HCP up to -28) – via the 800 BMW Golf Cup tournaments held all over the world each season.
