Munich. Thanks to superior driving dynamics the new BMW X5 has secured the pole
position in its segment. The performance potential of BMW's large
Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) can now be highlighted even more intensively. For
the first time an M Sports Package is available for the BMW X5, further
accentuating and also visually and authentically underlining the car's dynamic
potential. The M Sports Package comprises exterior features displaying powerful
aesthetics, a sporty interior design and a sports suspension. So the new BMW X5
is ideally predestined to consolidate its competitive edge over its rivals.

A BMW X5 equipped with the M Sports Package boasts its dynamic potential
discretely, stylishly, but unmistakably through the use of exterior features in
body colour. In addition to the bumpers, door sills and door protection strips
the widened wheel arches also sport the characteristic M design.
As an alternative to the 19-inch V-spoke M light-alloy wheels included in the
sports package, the car can be fitted with optional 20-inch M alloys. In both
cases the front and rear wheels are fitted with 2-size tyres designed
exclusively for the BMW X5. High-speed tuning and the sports suspension also
included in the M Sports Package complete the measures implemented to enhance
driving dynamics.

The BMW Individual Exterior Line featuring satin finish aluminium side window
surrounds and the BMW Individual roof railing in high-gloss shadow line
accentuate the ultimate in exclusivity. Electrically adjustable sport seats for
driver and front seat passenger, an M leather-covered steering wheel, aluminium
interior trims (finely brushed lengthwise) and an anthracite BMW Individual
roof lining turn the interior of a BMW X5 equipped with the M Sports Package
into a profoundly unique SAV driving experience.

Over and above that, it is possible to combine the M Sports Package features
with further options from the BMW and BMW Individual programmes, making it
possible to adapt the BMW X5 even more specifically to personal preference. For
example, agility can be boosted even further using the Adaptive Drive
suspension package, which features active suspension control and electronic
damping control, and additionally through the use of active steering. Moreover,
in addition to a selection of regular and metallic body colours from the X5
colour range, the M colour carbon black metallic and the BMW Individual colours
ruby black metallic and pearl silver metallic are also available. Exclusive
wood interior trims and comfort seats for both driver and front seat passenger
round off the extensive range of options.
