Following the scrutineering in Mar del Plata, all is set to begin the Dakar 2012. The Husqvarna Rallye Team by Speedbrain enters the race with factory support and five highly motivated riders. The team is eager to challenge for stage wins and to finish the longest and toughest rally on earth on the podium.

Husqvarna Rallye Team by Speedbrain is looking forward to the race
Following the scrutineering in Mar del Plata, all is set to
begin the Dakar 2012. The Husqvarna Rallye Team by Speedbrain enters
the race with factory support and five highly motivated riders. The
team is eager to challenge for stage wins and to finish the longest
and toughest rally on earth on the podium.
The Dakar 2012 consists of 14 stages and is held over 8,391
kilometres. The route leads from the Argentinian coast across the
Andes through Chile all the way to Peru´s capital Lima.
Portugal´s Paulo Goncalves, the two Spaniards Joan Barreda and
Jose Manuel Pellicer, as well as Brazil´s Ike Klaumann and
Zé Hélio are well prepared, having put an intensive
preparation behind them. The new Husqvarna TE 449 RR by Speedbrain has
been thoroughly tested. The team is looking forward to race the
lightest bikes in the field to Lima.
Stage wins and an overall podium are the target for the Dakar
2012. But first comes the starting ceremony at the Plaza Colón,
before the opening stage on 1 January kicks off with the first 57 km
against the clock. Then comes a 763-kilometer long connection to Santa
Rosa de la Pampa. Tomorrow marks the first hurdles and challenges at
the beginning of two long weeks.
