Blomqvist to start Sunday's DTM race from the front row – four BMW M4 DTMs in the top 10.

After his first DTM win in Oschersleben, Tom Blomqvist (GB) has made his next mark: The rookie of BMW Team RBM drove the second-fastest time in the qualifying session for the 16th race of the season at the Nürburgring (DE) and will start the race from the front row of the grid in his BMW M4 DTM. His personal best time of 1:21.939 minutes was 0.207 seconds slower than Miguel Molina's (ES, Audi) pole time.

After his first DTM win in Oschersleben, Tom Blomqvist (GB) has made his next mark: The rookie of BMW Team RBM drove the second-fastest time in the qualifying session for the 16th race of the season at the Nürburgring (DE) and will start the race from the front row of the grid in his BMW M4 DTM. His personal best time of 1:21.939 minutes was 0.207 seconds slower than Miguel Molina's (ES, Audi) pole time.
Three other BMW M4 DTMs made it into the top ten on the 3.629-kilometre track in the Eifel. Bruno Spengler (CA) set the fifth-fastest time in the BMW Bank M4 DTM, Augusto Farfus (BR) was sixth in the Shell BMW M4 DTM, Marco Wittmann (DE) was in tenth in the Ice-Watch BMW M4 DTM.
Timo Glock (DE, DEUTSCHE POST BMW M4 DTM) came 11th, after winning Saturday's race, Maxime Martin (BE, SAMSUNG BMW M4 DTM) had to make do with 16th. António Félix da Costa (PT, Red Bull BMW M4 DTM) and Martin Tomczyk (BMW M Performance Parts M4 DTM) finished in 18th and 23rd. The 16th of this year’s 18 DTM races begins at 13:35 hrs local time.

Useful information:
Tom Blomqvist will start from second on the grid for the second time in his DTM career. He started the Sunday race in Oschersleben (DE) from this position – and celebrated his first win in the DTM.
Marco Wittmann made it into the top ten in qualifying for the tenth time this season. No other BMW driver has achieved this as many times.
Mercedes driver Gary Paffett (GB) was unable to participate in the second qualifying session after a technical problem in the warm-up.
