East Sussex. Striking chalk cliffs, long coastal roads and idyllic cottages make the south of England a picture-postcard destination. Well outside London, the MINI Cooper S 5-door (combined fuel consumption: energy consumption 6.8–6.3 l/100 km; CO2 emissions 153–141 g/km according to WLTP) impresses with its powerful 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo engine with 150 kW (204 hp) and 300 Nm maximum torque, thanks to its performance and technical precision, even away from the urban metropolis. The sports automatic transmission and tuned driving dynamics ensure driving pleasure and full control on the winding country roads of East Sussex on the way to the famous Brighton Beach. Equipment details of the John Cooper Works trim, such as the characteristic diffusers at the front and rear, the octagonal front grille in high-gloss black and specific wheel variants, refer to the brand's racing DNA and create an unmistakably sporty appearance.

With this release, we are providing new images of the MINI Cooper S 5-door in John Cooper Works trim and the MINI Cooper S 3-door in John Cooper Works trim.

CO2 emission information.

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies. Further information are available at www.bmw.de/wltp and at www.dat.de/co2/.
