Munich. Carlos Ortiz took the clubhlouse lead on Friday after his second round in Munich. The Mexican is making his debut at the BMW International Open and has carded two rounds of 67, meaning he currently leads the world-class field at ten under par. Somewhat surprisingly, golf content creator Brad Dalke (-9) is tied for second place among the morning starters. Although the American is an excellent golfer who originally aspired to a professional career, Dalke nevertheless surprised everyone with his very strong interim result.

German hopes for a second home-grown tournament winner since Martin Kaymer (2008) rest primarily on Matti Schmid (-8), who is currently tied for fifth place after shooting a 67 on Friday. Amateur Finn Kölle (-7) also put in an exceptionally strong performance. The 21-year-old has sensationally played his way into the leading group after two rounds and is set to comfortably make the cut. Marcel Siem (-3), on the other hand, will have to wait and see whether the cut line remains at -3. As things stand, Siem would still be teeing off on the weekend.

CO2 emission information.

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies. Further information are available at www.bmw.de/wltp and at www.dat.de/co2/.
