Munich. Cheered on by a large crowd, Thomas
Rosenmüller (-11) and Freddy Schott (-8, both GER) teed off together
at 8.50 am for the third round of the BMW International Open.
Munich-born Rosenmüller carded the best round of the day so far (-7),
moving up 49 places in the provisional leaderboard to tie for the
lead. Although Schott carded 7 birdies, he also had to contend with 3
bogeys. Nevertheless, a 68 was his best round of the week,
provisionally moving him up to tied 13th place.
This year’s ‘Moving Day’ promises to be particularly exciting, as the 66 remaining players are closely grouped together. Visitors can look forward to an eventful afternoon in perfect summer weather. The final group of the day, featuring co-leader Hennie Du Plessis (RSA, -11) and Carlos Ortiz (MEX, -10), tees off at 1.45 pm.
