To mark this milestone, BMW is bringing together all BMW Art Cars that have raced in Le Mans for a spectacular reunion in Paris.
For half a century, BMW Art Cars have provided a creative platform for renowned artists from across the globe to express their vision on an automobile. The BMW Art Cars by American artists Andy Warhol and Julie Mehretu will be exhibited at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The display at the concours in North America is part of the BMW Art Car World Tour which celebrates the iconic collection in its jubilee year around the globe.
On Thursday 3 July, the Louwman Museum opened the “Fine Art on Wheels” exhibition, featuring a remarkable collection of eight iconic BMW Art Cars. This unique exhibition, which is only on display for two months, offers a rare opportunity to discover these masterpieces, designed by internationally renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, David Hockney, and Esther Mahlangu. From October 9 to 13, Frieze London and Frieze Masters will return to London’s Regent's Park. As one of Frieze’s long-term global partners since 2004, BMW will this year centre around presenting the artistic oeuvre of Ndebele artist Esther Mahlangu. This year’s BMW Lounge will present a curated selection of actor and Talk Art podcast co-host Russell Tovey’s private collection.

CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
