The 2023 WorldSBK season concluded with the finale at Jerez de la Frontera. BMW Motorrad Motorsport and the two teams demonstrated that the BMW M 1000 RR had the potential for top six result in Spain as well. However, the necessary racing luck was missing to translate that into the corresponding results. The best race results were achieved by Scott Redding and Michael van der Mark from the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team, both securing eighth positions.

After racing as a BMW Motorrad works rider in WorldSBK for three years, Eugene Laverty (IRL) will take over a new role from 2023 on. The 36-year old Irishman will become co-owner and join the management of the Bonovo action BMW Racing Team from next year on. Their first port of call was the BMW Motorrad plant in Berlin-Spandau, where they were given a warm welcome. CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
