June began with a challenging but highly successful double-header for BMW Motorrad Motorsport. The 2025 season opener of the FIM EWC will go down as one of the most dramatic 24-hour races in history. In the eventful 24 Hours of Le Mans, the BMW teams demonstrated the potential of the BMW M 1000 RR. The private team ERC Endurance #6 celebrated a podium finish with third place. The factory team, the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team (#37), was also among the top favourites and crossed the line in fourth place after 24 turbulent hours.
Titles, victories, and podium finishes around the globe as BMW Motorrad Motorsport looks back on an extraordinarily successful 2024 in both factory and customer racing. Private teams and riders also contributed significantly, securing twelve additional titles in the most prestigious international and national championships worldwide.
The 56th edition of the legendary Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix concluded with another all-BMW podium – once again, the BMW M 1000 RR proved to be the bike to beat on the Guia Circuit. However, the weekend unfolded quite differently from what participants had hoped. Torrential rain initially caused significant schedule delays and ultimately led to the cancellation of the race on the narrow street circuit.
At the world’s most famous road race event, BMW M 1000 RR riders dominated the races for 1000cc motorcycles. At the 2024 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy, they celebrated a triple 1-2 finish. In all three 1000cc races held, there were three wins and second places for the BMW M 1000 RR.
