Make Life a Ride - The 15th BMW Motorrad Days in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on 3rd-5th July, 2015.

Munich/Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The life of a motorcyclist is rooted in three things: the rides, the adventurous journeys, and chatting with people with the same passion. The last fifteen years, all of this was celebrated at the BMW Motorrad Days in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. And once again, in 2015, motorcycling enthusiasts, special guests - well known from radio and television, trendsetters from the style and fashion world, and anyone else who knows what a special weekend is expected - will be in Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the Hausberg from 3rd-5th of July to celebrate the 15th BMW Motorrad Days.

Anybody who has already attended the BMW Motorrad Days (or the BMW Bikermeeting, as it was known until 2006) don't need to be reminded why there are so many people at this unique event. Last year the event attracted more than 40,000 visitors, and most of them will come again this year. After fifteen years of the BMW Motorrad Days, there are far more than fifteen reasons to attend this event.

Here you will meet motorcycle riders of all ages, see motorcycles of different years of construction and many different brands. They will come from all over the world.
And even if you are not an active motorcycle rider you will have fun and enjoyment on this first July weekend. All your prejudices against motorcycle meetings (if you have some) will become eliminated - you should come at least once and visit the BMW Motorrad Days – BMW Motorrad hereby invites you to join us this year.

As always, entrance will be free at this event. This is the BMW Motorrad way to say thank you to the motorcycling community. Visitors only have to pay for the catering, for a room (book well in time), a place on the field to pitch a tent (€7.50 for the entire event) or for a tent that you can rent through BMW Motorrad (25 € for the entire event).

Whether you are looking for the latest customising trends in the motorcycle scene or you want to see cool retrofitting, or if you are a fan of rockabilly - this is your location, too. There will be plenty of inspiring ideas in the custom village, including spectacular variants of the BMW R nineT from Japan.

Even don’t miss the opportunity to test the products of BMW Motorrad. All around Garmisch-Partenkirchen, you can test ride the entire range of BMW motorcycles, including the new BMW S1000XR, the C Evolution electric scooter, the upgraded F800R or the latest generation of the high-tech super sport bike, the S1000RR. Don't forget to book in advance.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is located at one of the most attractive motorcycling regions in the world. Experienced guides will take visitors on short tours to see the highlights or on half-day trips which combine winding roads and wonderful impressions of the surrounding landscape.

Off-road enthusiasts get the opportunity to feel the joy of riding on uncovered tracks with the BMW R1200GS on experienced instructors’ guidance.

Another highlight of this year is the classic boxer sprint, which unfortunately had to be cancelled at last year's event for logistical reasons. Boxer motorcycles competition in acceleration duels over the traditional eighth of a mile distance. There will be sixteen twin-valve and eight four-valve boxers at the start, all in classic design. There are still some slots available.

The most popular of all the superbikes, the S1000RR, will also be part of the programme. This superbike has proven itself in road racing and in high-speed competitions. The white-blue racing machines and many racing personalities can be seen and met at the motorsport tent. The winners of the GS Trophy will also be there to talk about their experiences.

If you want to attend the staggering presentations of improbable motorcycle physics, you definitely don’t want to miss the incredible stunt shows on the Hausberg.

Donald Ganslmeier's Motodrom with the world's oldest travelling Wall Of Death has been an absolute hit for visitors since his first participation, and the reasons are obvious. The fearless stunt team is riding the board wall without holding on to their old Indians, just an arm's length away from the enthusiastic audience.

As always, the motorcycle parade will take place on Saturday, the classic parade for historical models this year will happen on Sunday. For both events, annual highlights for all the visitors, every bike is welcome, whatever it’s brand is.

Any company is made up of both people and ideas, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen offers you the perfect opportunity to get to know them. BMW Motorrad will be presenting motorcycle design concepts, experts will answer any questions relating to BMW Motorrad and provide an insight on their work to build a motorcycle.

Apart from being a party, the BMW Motorrad Days are also an exhibition, in which the motorcycling scene presents its ideas and accessories. Take a relaxed walk through the tent village, where experts in the field will give advice and present their products live.

In the big beer tent, party heroes like the Blechblosn and Gerry & Garry will be presenting their cover-version songs and costumes to get everyone in the mood for listening and looking, as well as singing and dancing on the tables.

Alternatively enjoy the live rock music at the Motodrom or at the big campfire with singer and guitar.

Last but not least, as it does every year, BMW Motorrad will be offering highlights of outdoor Bavarian cuisine at fair prices, along with expertly drawn beer. With their crispy half chickens or roast pork, freshly baked Brezen, spare ribs, meatloaf, Hamburgers or simply Currywurst – the professional caterers from Feinkost Käfer always look forward to their visitors.
