MINI gets the little ones really going. The new MINI Baby Racer and the MINI Cooper Kids Cabrio from the MINI Collection 2007.

Munich. You don't have to be a particular age to be a MINI fan.
Therefore the MINI Collection regularly presents trendy outfits, a
variety of fun products and top-quality toys which are tailored to the
desires and needs of MINI's youngest enthusiasts. Now the new
generation of MINI fans can look forward to two new, detailed
children's vehicles: The new MINI Baby Racer for tiny tots and the MINI
Cooper Kids Cabrio in an electric or pedal version for asphalt cowboys
aged 3 and upwards. The new MINI Baby Racer allows kids aged 1 - 3 to
experience the unique feeling of driving a real MINI. The design of the
MINI Baby Racer - which is completely faithful to that of the new MINI
- combines high quality and loving attention to detail: From the front
and rear lights in the original design and the sticker with MINI
controls to the up-to-date impression of the rims and the chrome
radiator grille. The attractive finish with the characteristic two-tone
colour scheme is also unbelievably MINI: The MINI Baby Racer gleams in a
powerful chilli red and features a matt black seat and trim. Parents
can also rest easy: Exhaustive quality checks ensure that the MINI Baby
Racer is both extremely safe and highly durable, while its round
contours limit the risk of injury. Wide plastic wheels (super-quiet
tires) ensure a smooth ride and leave no marks on parquet flooring.
Grown-ups would like to drive it occasionally as well: The single-seater
MINI Cooper Kids Cabrio provides little car fans aged 3 - 5 with real
MINI driving fun. The children's car, which is a faithful copy of the
original, is available in two versions: As a sporty pedal version with
smooth pedal mechanism or as an electric car with 6-volt batteries.
With its wing mirrors and white rims the red MINI Cooper Kids Cabrio is
a fully-fledged MINI in every detail. The adjustable seat guarantees an
optimal sitting position. The wide rubber tires provide that
characteristic MINI go-kart feeling. The MINI Cooper Kids Cabrio's
stable construction, with a painted steel tube chassis and durable
plastic body, means it is equipped to last for many years. Little
MINI drivers can cruise the asphalt at up to 4 km/h in the electric
version. When fully charged, the battery provides at least 1.5 hours of
driving pleasure; a battery charger is included in the price. But the
little electric MINI with original rally stripes on the bonnet is not
just racy - it is also completely safe: Electronic torque control
ensures a smooth start in forward or reverse gear. The double brake
function reliably slows down the MINI Cooper Kids Cabrio - even if the
child still has one foot on the accelerator when they brake. Braking
automatically switches off the motor. The rear-view mirrors are
twist-proof so that everything remains in sight. With its smooth
mechanism the pedal version of the MINI Cooper Kids Cabrio also gets
going without any problems. The pedals are height-adjustable. The
electric and pedal versions are perfectly tailored to the ergonomy of
children and TÜV- and ASTM-certified. To really enjoy driving
the little MINI you need the right outfit of course: The new MINI
collection therefore offers a range of clothing items especially for
children, which all have built-in safety features. For example the
"Story" Kids' T-Shirt in orange. The cool roundnecked t-shirt
really excites the little ones with a silhouette of the new MINI on the
front and a fluorescent stripe on the back which ensures better
