Film+, Cologne's forum for film editing and montage, will once again be shining the spotlight on the "invisible art" of editing, from 23 to 26 November 2007. The BMW Group Editing Talent Award, which is worth € 2,500 Euro, will be awarded this year for the third time for the most convincing editing of a short film by a newcomer, and will be presented at a formal gala evening on 26 November in the Rheintriadem in Cologne.

Munich/ Cologne. Film+, Cologne's forum for film editing and montage,
will once again be shining the spotlight on the "invisible
art" of editing, from 23 to 26 November 2007. The BMW Group
Editing Talent Award, which is worth € 2,500 Euro, will be awarded
this year for the third time for the most convincing editing of a short
film by a newcomer, and will be presented at a formal gala evening on 26
November in the Rheintriadem in Cologne. The nominations for 2007. The
preliminary juries at Film+, each made up of seven experienced editors,
decided at the weekend which short film editors would be fighting for
the awards and would thus be helping to shape the Film+ programme this
year. The following young editors were nominated: Stine Sonne Munch
for "Milan" (dir.: Michaela Kezele) Tobias Peper for Der
"Mungo" (dir.: Philipp Osthus) Tobias Suhm for
"Voigtkampff" (dir.: Tobias Suhm) Karen Tonne, Jan Ruschke for
"Abschiedslied" (dir.: Markus Beck) Rudi Zieglmeier for
"Bildfenster / Fensterbilder" (dir.: Bert Gottschalk) All the
films will be shown at Film+ to the public and the two main juries,
each comprising five people who have succeeded in the world of film.
After the screenings, the nominated editors will be available for
detailed discussions about their films. More details about the
