"Caos Calmo" - Quiet Chaos in the Berlinale competition. Nanni Moretti and a BMW 5 Series on the red carpet.

Munich/Berlin. Berlin will be totally dominated by the art of film from
7 to 17 February: The 58th Berlinale will be presenting around 380
films from 59 countries. These will include the Italian entry
"Caos Calmo" (Quiet Chaos), which will be making its
début in the official competition on 13 February at 7.30 p.m. in
the Berlinale Palast and is in the running for the Golden Bear. The
film crew includes not only director Antonello Grimaldi and leading
actor Nanni Moretti but also a BMW 535d Touring. Caos Calmo - the
film. Pietro Paladini (Nanni Moretti), a recently bereaved television
manager, cannot rest after the death of his wife. He reproaches himself
for not having been there for her at the crucial moment. In order to
prevent fate striking a second time and to stop himself feeling lonely,
he now spends his days in "quiet chaos" - in the car outside
his daughter's primary school. And, in the protection of his car, he
discovers the places where his fellow withdraw. The script is based on
the novel by Sandro Veronesi, which was awarded the Strega Prize, and
the film was produced by Domenico Procacci's company Fandango. The
BMW 535d Touring. Actually, no-one needs to feel lonely in the BMW 535d
