Munich. Hallmark BMW driving pleasure, a sporty appearance and modern functionality have always helped the BMW 5 Series Touring to occupy a special position in the premium segment of the upper mid-range vehicle segment. The fully electric drive of the BMW i5 Touring in the sixth model generation makes this combination even more attractive. BMW M Performance Parts will also be available for all model variants from market launch in May 2024, underlining the dynamic character of the new BMW 5 Series Touring and the new BMW i5 Touring in everyday use and on journeys.

The model-specific aerodynamic, interior and suspension retrofit products offer ideal opportunities to individually optimise the dynamic potential and athletic appearance of the new BMW 5 Series Touring and the new BMW i5 Touring. Products from the Original BMW Accessories programme are already homologated with the complete vehicle, so no separate registration with the registration authorities is required.

Individual appearance, optimised aerodynamics and intelligent lightweight design with high-quality M Performance exterior parts.

The BMW M Performance Parts for the exterior set individual accents in appearance and at the same time fulfil functional requirements in terms of lightweight construction and aerodynamics. They have been specially developed for the new BMW 5 Series Touring and the new BMW i5 Touring with M Sport Package or M Sport Package Pro and are perfectly matched to the geometry and design of the vehicle. All Carbon components are made of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP), sealed with clear lacquer to achieve a high-quality finish, and give the car a sharp and sporty look from all angles.

The three-part M Performance Carbon front splitter makes a confident statement of exclusive sportiness and enhances the dynamic driving potential of the new BMW 5 Series Touring and the new BMW i5 Touring. Handcrafted to perfection, it provides performance-oriented downforce as well as a striking appearance. For an even more exclusive look, the M Performance front splitter is also available in high-gloss black on the left and right.

In addition to the M Performance Carbon side sill attachments, which give the vehicle's profile even more visual length and depth, the new M Performance accent stripes in Frozen Black emphasise the dynamically flowing lines of the new BMW 5 Series Touring and the new BMW i5 Touring. The digitally printed accent stripes are in matt anthracite and feature the M Performance lettering. The M Performance side sill decals, which consist of a striking curved line in matt grey, highlight the vehicle’s profile even further. The decals are located below the doors and provide an elegant colour accent, especially on the black side sills. The exclusive M Performance Frozen Black accent stripes emphasise the sporty elegance and accentuate the shoulder area along the entire length of the vehicle. The high-quality film set is road wash resistant and optimised for the vehicle geometry of the BMW 5 Series Touring and the BMW i5 Touring.

The striking M Carbon exterior mirror caps and the M Performance Aramid aerial cover provide further accents for the individual and sporty profile of the new BMW 5 Series Touring and the new BMW i5 Touring. Aramid-reinforced plastic is very similar to CFRP, but has a high electromagnetic permeability.

The three-piece M Performance rear diffuser is also made from aramid. It emphasises the powerfully designed rear of the vehicle even more impressively and also enables the luggage compartment lid to be opened and closed without touching it. The M Performance high-gloss black roof spoiler and M Performance Carbon rear fins add a touch of sportiness and elegance.

High-quality interior options bring racing flair to the cockpit.

The M Performance Carbon door sill trims are an unmistakable sign of the dynamic orientation of the new BMW 5 Series Touring and the new BMW i5 Touring. With their M Performance lettering, they are an eye-catching feature when the doors are open. For a particularly elegant first impression, M aluminium door sill trims are also available. The M Performance door projector slides supplement the existing BMW LED door projector with three interchangeable M Performance graphics and provide a particularly characteristic entry and exit experience even at dusk.

The M Performance floor mats with leather-look edging, contrasting stitching and a seam in BMW M colours add a sporty touch to the interior. The purist design and precise workmanship of the M Performance stainless steel pedal pads with asymmetric rubber profiles give the driver's footwell an unmistakably dynamic, high-tech look.

The M Performance key case also makes a clear performance statement on any occasion. Made from Alcantara and high quality leather in a carbon fibre look, the perfectly-fitting protective cover protects the vehicle key from scratches and is a perfect addition to the range of BMW M Performance Parts. The M Performance Carbon fuel filler cap is also available for the combustion engine and plug-in hybrid variants of the new BMW 5 Series Touring. It is particularly easy to fit and features M Performance lettering on brushed aluminium.

Light alloy wheels and sport brake system for optimised performance.

The M Performance light alloy wheels available for the new BMW 5 Series Touring and the all-electric BMW i5 Touring are ideally suited to a sporty driving style and make for a highly distinctive look. Both summer wheel with tyre sets and winter wheel with tyre sets in the dimensions 19, 20 and 21 inches are available.

The summer wheel with tyre set with 21-inch M Performance Cross Spoke light alloy wheels is available for all drive types in either M Bicolor Jet Black gloss finish or M Frozen Midnight Grey. For all model variants the 19-inch M Performance light alloy wheels in Y-Spoke design in Matt Black are also available as a summer wheel with tyre set. The corresponding winter wheel with tyre set, which is also suitable for snow chains with the exception of the largest rim width, are also available with an extra soft tyre compound or studded tyres.

Also available for the cold season: 20-inch M aerodynamic wheel with tyre set in burnished Bicolour Midnight Grey finish. They give all variants of the new BMW 5 Series Touring and the new BMW i5 Touring a particularly exclusive touch, even in winter. Additional wheel sets are ideally stowed in the M Performance tyre bags. A reinforced handle makes it easy to transport the wheels and protects both the driver and the vehicle from dirt.

The M Performance 20-inch brake system ensures a deceleration performance worthy of the name and short braking distances. Its red-painted brake calipers featuring the four-colour M logo look particularly distinctive in conjunction with the open rim design of the 21-inch light alloy wheels. The sport brake system is fitted with six-piston aluminium fixed calipers at the front and single-piston floating calipers at the rear to provide deceleration. The large-format, internally ventilated and perforated M Performance lightweight brake discs provide improved thermal load-bearing capacity and thus deliver even higher breaking power under extreme conditions.
