Available for vehicles of any age, even those no longer covered by Motorplan, the inspections are designed to enhance peace of mind ahead of long-distance travel. The initiative reflects BMW Group South Africa’s Customer Support philosophy, ‘Relax. We Care.’: a commitment to proactive customer care, expert service, and ensuring every journey is as seamless as possible.
Support When It Matters Most
Unexpected situations can arise at any time, and the Easter
period is no exception. BMW On Call and MINI Assist provides 24-hour
roadside assistance and accident support, coordinating help whenever
it is needed. Should the situation involve a flat tyre, a mechanical
concern, or an accident, they ensure prompt assistance and, where
necessary, towing to an authorised repair centre. During peak travel
seasons, BMW On Call teams are out on the road, positioned along key
national routes to keep BMW and MINI drivers moving.
Motorplan: Comprehensive Cover for BMW and MINI Owners
Underpinning that roadside confidence is BMW’s proprietary
Motorplan, first introduced in South Africa in 1985. Motorplan
provides peace of mind for five years or 100,000 kilometres, with BMW
On Call or MINI Assist roadside assistance included as a standard
feature. Cover extends across a wide range of essential service and
maintenance requirements, including:

Based Servicing
• Replacement of essential fluids, including

reliable and timely delivery to retailers nationwide. Strict serial

Proactive Care, an innovative customer service solution that delivers
individual, pre-emptive support to BMW and MINI owners. Using vehicle
sensors and the BMW Group’s ConnectedDrive system, it monitors a

maintenance requirement is detected, a preferred retailer may
proactively contact the customer to assist with scheduling an
