BMW Group South Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Niklas Fichtmüller as Director of BMW Group Plant Rosslyn, effective from 1 April 2023. Dr Fichtmüller succeeds Mr John Mouton, who has retired after 42 years with the BMW Group.

Oliver Zipse will assume the role of Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG effective on 16 August 2019. The company’s Supervisory Board made this decision today during its meeting in Spartanburg, South Carolina (USA). Zipse will succeed Harald Krüger, who informed the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the beginning of July that he would not seek a second term of office.

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Dr Norbert Reithofer, has complete respect and understanding for his decision. The Supervisory Board will address the matter of a successor during its next meeting on 18 July 2019.
