BMW Group South Africa, Anglo American Platinum and Sasol South Africa Limited on Monday, 16 October 2023 signed a collaboration agreement that will bring hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) and supporting hydrogen refuelling technology to South Africa.

The new, fully electric MINI model generation continues to grow: in 2023, production of the new MINI Countryman will begin at the BMW Group plant Leipzig.
