Yesterday marked yet another significant milestone for BMW Group South Africa when the last BMW 3 Series Sedan rolled off the production line at BMW Group Plant Rosslyn in Pretoria. The plant has produced a total of 1,191,604 five generations of the BMW 3 Series and will begin a new era of producing the new BMW X3 in the coming months. The BMW 3 Series will continue its current lifecycle and be produced by plants within the BMW Group production network.
BMW South Africa today announced the production of its one-millionth BMW 3 Series Sedan at its manufacturing plant in Rosslyn, Pretoria. The one-millionth BMW 3 Series Sedan rolled off the assembly line at plant Rosslyn earlier today. The anniversary celebration formed part of a special visit by Chairman of BMW South Africa and member of the Management Board of BMW AG responsible for production, Harald Krüger.
BMW Group South Africa recently recognised its top performing dealerships at the Dealer of The Year Awards event, which was held at the Saxon Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. The objective of the awards is to reward top performance amongst the BMW Group’s dealer network in the area of sales, customer satisfaction and dealer standards during 2013.
