With the countdown to the BMW Motorrad Race Trophy 2017 season underway, BMW Motorrad Motorsport South Africa will be supporting seven privateers riding the BMW S 1000 RR with the BMW Motorsport Support Package 2017.¶

On the back of the successful launch of the second generation BMW superbike, the BMW S 1000 RR, BMW Motorrad South Africa proudly introduces the exclusive limited edition BMW S 1000 RR, which is inspired by the official BMW MotoGP Safety Bike.
Munich (DE), 28th November 2015. The winner has been decided: Matthieu Lussiana (FR) has won the 2015 BMW Motorrad Race Trophy. In the second season of this special customer racing project a total of 104 BMW racers from 22 different nations and six continents took part. They raced for 73 different teams in 24 individual championship classes.
Munich (DE), 23rd September 2015. The privateer BMW riders have continued their streak of successes in several important championships. Last weekend showed impressive performances in series like the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC), the British Superbike Championship (BSB) and the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup (STK1000). In total, they claimed a stunning lap record, a win and two more podium finishes for the BMW S 1000 RR.
Munich (DE), 30th September 2015. This past weekend brought more success for the BMW S 1000 RR, with wins and podium finishes in four different championships. At the finale of the 2015 International German Championship SUPERBIKE*IDM (IDM), champion Markus Reiterberger (DE) took his 12th win of the season on his RR.
“Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation”, the latest film in the legendary action series from Paramount Pictures and Skydance, celebrated its glittering world premiere at the Vienna State Opera. As the exclusive automobile partner, the BMW Group provided vehicles for the BMW VIP shuttle fleet at the event. Amidst a crowd of cheering fans and alongside stars like Tom Cruise, the new BMW M3 and the new BMW 7 Series were featured on the red carpet.
Munich (DE), 1st July 2015. It is an impressive number: the field of the participants in the 2015 BMW Motorrad Race Trophy has grown to 100 BMW Motorrad privateers. At the top the lead has changed again: Matthieu Lussiana (FR) is back in front after a successful weekend in the Moto 1000 GP (MT1GP) in Goiânia, Brazil. BMW riders have been in action in championships on a total of four continents this weekend.
Munich (DE), 3rd June 2015. Last weekend, privateer BMW Motorrad riders claimed more wins and podium finishes in various countries and continents. Markus Reiterberger (DE) claimed his fifth win of the season and a runner-up position in the SUPERBIKE*IDM races at the Lausitzring (DE). In the Superstock class, Lucy Glöckner (DE) stepped onto the podium for the first time this year.
Munich, 27th May 2015. The privateer BMW Motorrad riders have been in action successfully at two venues last weekend: Great Britain’s Donington Park and Le Vigeant in France. At Donington, Ayrton Badovini (IT) scored another top-five finish on his BMW S 1000 RR in the Superbike World Championship.
Munich, 20th May 2015. While Alastair Seeley (GB) and Lee Johnston (GB) claimed a double win for BMW Motorrad at the North West 200 (GB) (see own release), their fellow BMW riders claimed further successes around the globe this weekend.
Munich, 18th May, 2015. The winning streak of BMW Motorrad in road racing continues: Last week, the prestigious North West 200 (NW200) in Northern Ireland kicked off the international road racing season – with the BMW S 1000 RR being the 1000 cc bike to beat.
