BMW Motorrad UK has announced pricing details of its 2006 model line-up. The
first half of the year will see five new motorcycles launched across the
company's dealer network - each incorporating the Motorrad design philosophy to
produce lighter, faster and sportier motorcycles.

Following the world premiere of the R1200 GS Adventure at last year's
International Motorcycle Show at Birmingham's NEC, the ultimate globetrotting
enduro will be available in all BMW dealerships from 25 March, priced at £9,755
on the road. It will be joined by BMW's new 150 hp K1200 GT - an incredibly
powerful, yet agile tourer - available for £11,955.

Further new models, including the 122 hp R1200 S sports boxer (£8,955), the new
F800 S (£5,995) and half-faired F800 ST sports tourer (£6,495) are due to
follow later in the spring. Looking forwards to the year ahead, BMW Motorrad UK'
s General Manager, Adrian Roderick, said:

"The 2006 BMW Motorrad model line-up is the most exciting yet. Such a new and
varied model choice enables us to offer customers a range that is not only
competitively priced but also offers high residual values and other benefits of
ownership that our competitors will find hard to match. These include a
two-year unlimited mileage warranty, BMW's roadside recovery along with a
selection of BMW Finance and Insurance options to choose from."

Enthusiasts can now gain access to the latest BMW Motorrad model information
online. Electronic Model Brochures containing in-depth information, accessory
options and a variety of images are now exclusively available to view and
download simply by visiting www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk.

BMW motorcycles 2006 on the road retail price correct as of 01/01/2006,

CO2 emission information.

The values for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and energy consumption shown were determined in a standardised test cycle according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version currently applicable. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers transmission (automatic or manual) and the different wheels and tyres available on the selected model and may vary during the configuration.

The values of the vehicles labelled with (*), are already based on the test cycle according to the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to allow a comparison between vehicles. More information on the transition from NEDC to WLTP test procedures can be found here.

These figures are intended for comparison purposes and may not be representative of what a user achieves under usual driving conditions. For plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles the figures have been obtained using a combination of battery power and petrol fuel after the battery had been fully charged. Plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. The CO2 emissions labels are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the Passenger Car (Fuel consumption and CO2 Emissions Information) Regulations 2001, as amended. They are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle.

A guide on fuel economy and CO2 emissions which contains data for all new passenger car models is available at any point of sale free of charge. For further information you can also visit this link.
