MINI One and MINI Cooper go on sale on July 7 and come with a vast array of
options to add a personal touch to each car. Mini owners have always enjoyed
personalising their cars inside and out, and every Mini owner has a view on
what represents the ideal specification. New MINI will continue the theme,
offering over 40 options, 3 option packages, 3 different alloy wheels and 8
colours available to order at launch.

Options inside and out will cover practical requirements and improve even
further on MINI's good looks. As with the car's retail price, the options offer
seriously good value for money and are added to a car that is already extremely
well specified in standard form.

Trevor Houghton-Berry, MINI's General Manager in the UK, said: "A Mini always
gave its owner the chance to create a truly individual vehicle meaning the car
became the owner's pride and joy rather than just a means of transport. This
gave the car real personality. With this in mind, we have ensured that MINI's
options list is unmatched in its class, once again offering the opportunity to
personalise. From September there'll be a MINI for everyone with thousands of
different combinations!"

At launch, MINI customers will be able to order performance enhancing options
such as a Sports Plus suspension system and Automatic Stability Control with
traction control, and comfort and safety options such as a head airbag system
for driver and front and rear passengers, electric panoramic sunroof and an
on-board computer. Styling options such as interior silver trim, white alloys
and mirror caps and chunky 16 inch wheels will also be available to order.

Further options will be available to order in September, including steptronic
automatic CVT (constantly variable transmission), Xenon lights, multifunction
steering wheel and 6 CD changer or even a Mini Disc system. From 2002, white or
black bonnet stripes can be added to Cooper models. A wooden steering wheel,
Park Distance Control, satellite navigation system and a Harmon Kardon HiFi
system will also be available.

The MINI range will also benefit from a 3 year or 60,000 mile warranty and come
with a 3 year Emergency Service cover through Mondial Assistance, consisting of
bespoke MINI service engineers, replacement car loan, full European cover and
Accident Management.

available to order at launch.

CO2 emission information.

The values for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and energy consumption shown were determined in a standardised test cycle according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version currently applicable. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers transmission (automatic or manual) and the different wheels and tyres available on the selected model and may vary during the configuration.

The values of the vehicles labelled with (*), are already based on the test cycle according to the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to allow a comparison between vehicles. More information on the transition from NEDC to WLTP test procedures can be found here.

These figures are intended for comparison purposes and may not be representative of what a user achieves under usual driving conditions. For plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles the figures have been obtained using a combination of battery power and petrol fuel after the battery had been fully charged. Plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. The CO2 emissions labels are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the Passenger Car (Fuel consumption and CO2 Emissions Information) Regulations 2001, as amended. They are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle.

A guide on fuel economy and CO2 emissions which contains data for all new passenger car models is available at any point of sale free of charge. For further information you can also visit this link.
