BMW Group Financial Services Great Britain, which provides finance, leasing and insurance facilities to BMW and MINI customers in the UK, reached a historical milestone on 10 September 2003 with the company's portfolio of active customers breaking through the 100,000 barrier for the first time.

BMW Group Financial Services Great Britain, which provides finance, leasing and
insurance facilities to BMW and MINI customers in the UK, reached a historical
milestone on 10 September 2003 with the company's portfolio of active customers
breaking through the 100,000 barrier for the first time.

The company's chief executive, Frank Munk, said: "We are thrilled to reach such
a significant milestone in our history and are delighted to hit the 100,000
mark ahead of our forecasts. This reflects the outstanding growth in the sales
of new and used BMW and MINI cars and BMW motorcycles in the UK and the
significant part that BMW Group Financial Services plays in supporting these
sales through BMW's UK dealer network. We look forward to continuing to
support the BMW Group and its UK dealer network with the launch of a number of
exciting new cars in the coming months including the new 5 Series, the 6 Series
Coupe, the X3 and the MINI Convertible".

Williams of Rochdale initiated the 100,000th agreement. BMW Financial
Services' commercial director, David Hannah, said: "The customer, a gentleman
from Rochdale, has used our services before to acquire both a BMW motorcycle
and a 3 Series. The record breaking deal is for another 3 Series Coupe, which
is being supplied under the BMW Approved Used Car programme. We will be
contacting the customer to offer him an all expenses paid trip for two to
Munich to recognise this very important landmark for our company and to thank
him for his loyalty to both BMW and BMW Financial Services".

CO2 emission information.

The values for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and energy consumption shown were determined in a standardised test cycle according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version currently applicable. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers transmission (automatic or manual) and the different wheels and tyres available on the selected model and may vary during the configuration.

The values of the vehicles labelled with (*), are already based on the test cycle according to the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to allow a comparison between vehicles. More information on the transition from NEDC to WLTP test procedures can be found here.

These figures are intended for comparison purposes and may not be representative of what a user achieves under usual driving conditions. For plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles the figures have been obtained using a combination of battery power and petrol fuel after the battery had been fully charged. Plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. The CO2 emissions labels are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the Passenger Car (Fuel consumption and CO2 Emissions Information) Regulations 2001, as amended. They are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle.
