The first public display of BMW Motorrad's new F800 ST sports tourer since its
South Africa launch will take place at the 2006 Beaulieu Motorcycle World show.
The 11th annual show will be held during the weekend of 24-25 June at the
picturesque Beaulieu Event Fields in Brockhurst, Hampshire.

BMW Motorrad's new sports middleweight has received rave reviews from the
motorcycle media and it is now time for the public to make its judgement.
Visitors to Beaulieu Motorcycle World will have the chance to view the 800cc
parallel-twin, which is available now in BMW Motorrad UK dealerships nationwide.

The engine at the heart of the F800 ST is the first of its kind in BMW's
history and produces an impressive 85 hp, with a punchy 63lb/ft of torque.
Combine this with a new suspension system, maintenance-free belt drive and a
light and responsive chassis, and the result is a seriously fun sports touring
bike for all types of rider.

Alongside the F800 ST, BMW Motorrad will also showcase the four other
new-generation models from the 2006 line-up - the F800 S sports middleweight
twin, the R1200 S sports boxer, the K1200 GT grand tourer and the R1200 GS
Adventure. Other bikes on display from the 2006 range will include the HP2
Enduro, K1200 S superbike and K1200 R naked roadster. There will also be the
chance to view the Race to Dakar team's modified F650 GS bikes that
successfully completed the 2006 Lisbon-Dakar rally.

Visitors will also be able to view a wide range of innovative products from
BMW's Rider Equipment collection, including the ever-popular Streetguard 2 suit
and the all-new Boulder jacket and City trousers. A World of BMW
representative will be on hand to speak to any visitors interested in the 2006
Activity Programme, which includes motorcycling tours and holidays all over the
world.

Beaulieu Motorcycle World will feature hundreds of trade and manufacturer
stands, classic and modern motorcycle displays, star guests and arena events.
Tickets can be purchased by calling 01590 612888 or by visiting
www.beaulieu.co.uk/tickets. Admission to the event also includes entrance to
the National Motor Museum, Palace House and Gardens, Beaulieu Abbey and the
Secret Army exhibition.

CO2 emission information.

The values for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and energy consumption shown were determined in a standardised test cycle according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version currently applicable. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers transmission (automatic or manual) and the different wheels and tyres available on the selected model and may vary during the configuration.

The values of the vehicles labelled with (*), are already based on the test cycle according to the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to allow a comparison between vehicles. More information on the transition from NEDC to WLTP test procedures can be found here.

These figures are intended for comparison purposes and may not be representative of what a user achieves under usual driving conditions. For plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles the figures have been obtained using a combination of battery power and petrol fuel after the battery had been fully charged. Plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. The CO2 emissions labels are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the Passenger Car (Fuel consumption and CO2 Emissions Information) Regulations 2001, as amended. They are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle.

A guide on fuel economy and CO2 emissions which contains data for all new passenger car models is available at any point of sale free of charge. For further information you can also visit this link.
