MINI Cherished is a comprehensive scheme giving buyers of used MINIs a complete
package offering all-round peace of mind. It comes with 12 months unlimited
mileage warranty and Europe-wide emergency service, plus Accident Management
throughout the period of the car's life.

Virtually all MINIs sold through the scheme will come with the remainder of
their £100, five-year MINI tlc service pack, plus each car will get a thorough
going over to ensure it's in prime condition. MINI technicians will put the
car through a tough on- and off-road test, also checking paintwork and trim.

The MINI will receive a full service, if one is due in the next 4,000 miles and
undergo an independent history and mileage check. All MINI Cherished cars will
come with full 12 months MoT and have a 30 day/1000 mile commitment,
guaranteeing that if any demonstrable fault cannot be fixed, the car will be
replaced with a like-for-like MINI.

MINI Cherished is also available on other used cars sold at the MINI dealership
and, if there's less than 12 months left on that manufacturer's warranty, the
car will come with a 12 month MINI Cherished warranty instead.

MINI Cherished Warranty
This covers all factory fitted mechanical and electrical components, including
the battery and exhaust system (on MINIs only). Routine service items such as
brake pads and discs are not covered, but the warranty can be extended year on
year as long as the MINI continues to be serviced by the MINI dealer.

MINI Emergency Service
In case of a medical emergency in the UK or abroad, one 'phone call at any hour
of the day will secure medical attention, hospital transfer back to the UK and
the recovery of the MINI. It even provides a driver to collect friends, family
and all belongings.

MINI Accident Management
In the unfortunate incident of an accident, the MINI will be taken to a
manufacturer-approved bodyshop and the owner will be provided with a
replacement car while it's being fixed. MINI will also liaise with the
insurance company and chase any uninsured losses or compensation for personal
injury.
MINI Accident Management is not available on other manufacturers' cars bought
through MINI Cherished.

Availability of MINIs through MINI Cherished will be relatively low initially,
but by the end of the year, over 3,000 MINIs are expected to have passed
through the scheme.

Trevor Houghton-Berry, General Manager, MINI said: " We've seen in the past
nine months that MINIs are their owners' pride and joy. MINI Cherished will
offer that same ownership experience in the used market, widening the appeal
and ensuring that the MINI adventure will be available to an even wider
audience."

CO2 emission information.

The values for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and energy consumption shown were determined in a standardised test cycle according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version currently applicable. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers transmission (automatic or manual) and the different wheels and tyres available on the selected model and may vary during the configuration.

The values of the vehicles labelled with (*), are already based on the test cycle according to the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to allow a comparison between vehicles. More information on the transition from NEDC to WLTP test procedures can be found here.

These figures are intended for comparison purposes and may not be representative of what a user achieves under usual driving conditions. For plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles the figures have been obtained using a combination of battery power and petrol fuel after the battery had been fully charged. Plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. The CO2 emissions labels are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the Passenger Car (Fuel consumption and CO2 Emissions Information) Regulations 2001, as amended. They are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle.

A guide on fuel economy and CO2 emissions which contains data for all new passenger car models is available at any point of sale free of charge. For further information you can also visit this link.
