MINI is introducing a number of additions to its UK line-up, led by new petrol-powered Paul Smith Editions, the return of the MINI One as an entry model to the brand, and further updates across the model range.

Paul Smith Edition is now available for petrol-powered MINI Cooper models.
Building on the success of the MINI Cooper Electric Paul Smith Edition, the portfolio now expands to include petrol powered models, marking the next step of the celebrated partnership. The petrol-powered models include the MINI Cooper 3-door, MINI Cooper 5-door & MINI Cooper Convertible. Mirroring the electric model offerings, the Paul Smith Edition will be available for both C and S models.

The petrol Paul Smith Edition is available in three exterior paint choices; Edition-exclusive colours of Statement Grey and Inspired White, or in Midnight Black which can already be found in the MINI family. The MINI Cooper 3-door & 5-door models are available with the contrast Nottingham Green roof colour, meanwhile the MINI Cooper Convertible receives the optionable Union Jack soft-top roof. Nottingham Green mirror caps and detailing continue to provide a subtle nod to Sir Paul Smith’s heritage.

The interior highlights include a Paul Smith striped knitted dashboard, door panels and seats. The iconic Paul Smith signature stripe is found on the steering wheel, and Paul Smith handwritten motto ‘Everyday is a new beginning’ on the door sills. A graphic of a hand-drawn rabbit by Paul Smith is found on the front floormat.

Inside and out, the MINI Paul Smith Edition continues to embody Sir Paul Smith’s ‘classic with a twist’ design philosophy. Unique colour combinations, thoughtful detailing and playful signature elements bring together MINI’s design language with Paul Smith’s unmistakable style, celebrating individuality and creativity across both electric and petrol variants of the MINI Cooper.

UK pricing for the petrol MINI Paul Smith Edition starts from £31,285 OTR for the C & from £32,335 OTR for S engine models. First customer deliveries are expected in Q3 2026.

Introducing the new MINI One.
MINI is introducing the MINI One to re-establish the entry point into the latest MINI family and is available on petrol MINI Cooper 3-door and MINI Cooper 5-door models. The One will purely be offered in Classic trim with up to three paint colours and two alloy options to choose from. Pricing starts from £24,735 OTR.

As standard, the car will receive Melting Silver paintwork, with a body-coloured roof, 16" 4-Square Spoke Silver alloys, and a Black/Blue cloth combination interior. Additional options include Icy Sunshine Blue & Midnight Black paint. Grey/Blue cloth combination interior materials, as well as the 17" Parallel 2-tone Spoke alloy wheels. Level 1 Pack is offered as an optional extra, which includes features such as head-up display, mobile wireless charging and high-beam assistant.

In terms of performance, the 1.6L powertrain will produce 121 hp, with a top speed of 127 mph, resulting in a 0-62 mph in 9.3 seconds, making the One perfect for first time drivers. The car will begin production in July 2026, with first customer deliveries expected in Q3 2026.

Introducing a range of MINI models updates from July 2026.
From July 2026 new paint options available on more of the MINI family. The familiar Indigo Sunset Blue paintwork will now be available for all trim levels of the MINI Cooper Electric, meanwhile Blazing Blue will be offered on all petrol-powered MINI models, as well as the MINI Aceman in Classic and Exclusive trim levels.

To further increase the individuality of each MINI, different interior colours are newly available to a range of models. Beige Vescin seats in combination with black knit on the dashboard and door cards will be available on every model specified in either Exclusive, Sport or JCW trims. Meanwhile, Brown Vescin seats in combination with black knit on the dashboard and door cards will be offered to on both petrol and electric versions of the MINI Countryman when specified in Exclusive trim.

MINI Connected – which was previously only available via the online store – will become equipped for the first four years after initial purchase for all Level 2 & Level 3 specified cars. This additional functionality will give customers access to key aspects such as real-time traffic and congestion updates without active route guidance. Also included will be more detailed visualisations of complicated junctions as well as 3D buildings within navigation. Another key perk of MINI Connected is the access of AirConsole games and video streaming when stationary.

It will now be possible to specify Piano Black grille when opting for Exclusive trim on petrol MINI Cooper models and the MINI Countryman.

CO2 emission information.

The values for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and energy consumption shown were determined in a standardised test cycle according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version currently applicable. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers transmission (automatic or manual) and the different wheels and tyres available on the selected model and may vary during the configuration.

The values of the vehicles labelled with (*), are already based on the test cycle according to the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to allow a comparison between vehicles. More information on the transition from NEDC to WLTP test procedures can be found here.

These figures are intended for comparison purposes and may not be representative of what a user achieves under usual driving conditions. For plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles the figures have been obtained using a combination of battery power and petrol fuel after the battery had been fully charged. Plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. The CO2 emissions labels are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the Passenger Car (Fuel consumption and CO2 Emissions Information) Regulations 2001, as amended. They are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle.

A guide on fuel economy and CO2 emissions which contains data for all new passenger car models is available at any point of sale free of charge. For further information you can also visit this link.
