Munich (DE), 13th December 2012. Full speed ahead into the new season: as “Official Partner”, Zollner Elektronik AG will be in the thick of the action when BMW Motorsport lines up in the 2013 DTM as defending champion. The German group is one of the top 15 EMS service providers, with 16 locations around the world, including eight in Germany. The strengths of the family-run business, which is based in Zandt (DE), are complex mechatronic systems, from development to after sales service.

“The end of one season marks the start of the next,” said BMW Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt. “I am delighted to be able to welcome Zollner Elektronik AG to our circle of partners for the DTM project. BMW and Zollner have already been working successfully together for a long time. As such, I am confident this partnership in the DTM will also be beneficial for both sides.”

CO2 emission information.

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies. Further information are available at www.bmw.de/wltp and at www.dat.de/co2/.
